The College will offer sessions ranging from UIFSA, Guideline Calculator, Financials for Attorneys, Parentage Pleadings, Ethics, Bias, and Competence Issues (and more). Also included in this year’s college is a half day session on how the private bar and DCSS work collaboratively as partners for better outcomes for children and families. This workshop will give IV-D attorneys, IV-D partners and the private bar information needed to understand DCSS processes, procedures and why we do what we do.
The Child Support Directors Association is a State Bar of California approved provider for minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) and certifies that the activities for this event conform to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing MCLE. This training provides opportunities for approximately 23.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education Credits, including specialty credits; Recognition and Elimination of Bias, Legal Ethics and Competence Issues.
